Steelers 2006 Songs & Videos

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

I just did a quick scan of the server logs and found that the Sector has a lot of hits this months for folks looking for "Steelers Songs", "Steelers Videos", and "Steelers Rap Videos". Therefore, I thought it imperative that I post links to some of my favorite videos and songs for the 2006 Steelers Super Bowl run...

Videos:
* My favorite has got to be the Manic D and Shutd0wn's One for the Thumb detailing the Indy game.
* Another one by the above artist's, this one looking at the entire playoffs and focusing on The Bus at the end.
* This one would be a good one to watch right before the game.
*And here is your typical "Here you Go" song over a bunch of photos.
* This video is pretty interesting.

Songs:
As far as songs go, I've found 2 decent sites that have a lot of Steelers songs: The links on the 2nd site didn't work when I went there, but hopefully they will be fixed soon:
1, Steelers Songs
2, Fight Songs

If anyone else has any songs or videos they would like to see listed here, hit me with the media and I'll host it here. I'm still looking for a lot of the Steelers songs, especially "Black & Gold Soldier". DVE keeps playing snips of songs, but they don't seem like they are posting the full versions on their site or anything that would make common sense like that.

Update:
* The Jerome Bettis Song.

Update2:
Check out Scott Paulsen's list of songs. Steelers Nation is one of my favorites so far.

Some think it's annoying. Others think its cursed. We at the Sector really don't care. Here is the Steeler's 2005 Here We Go Song.

Here's a good article covering yesterday's 3 missed calls in yesterday's game againist the Colts.

The ref who made the interception decision, Pete Morelli, basically says that had Polamalu stayed on the ground, the pass would have been an interception. However, since he got up and knocked the ball out of his hands, it was an incomplete pass. Explain the logic of that to me. How does a "football move" after the point of interception nullify the interception?

Even Instant Reply has its Flaws.

WOW!!!

That was the most amazing game I've seen in a long time. Much to the refs dismay, the Steelers pulled it out. How Troy's interception was ruled not I'll still wonder until my dying day. Along with how 3 Colts can cross the line of scrimmage but not touch anyone in the process.

One thing is for certain, and that is that Madeline will hold the "Terrible Toddler Towel" throguh the AFC championships and hopefully the Super Bowl. As long as he had it in her hands, good things happened this week.

Yes, Apple released new firmware for their line of iPods yesterday, but no one seems to be reporting some major issues with the release. 5th Generation (Video) iPod owners with the 60GB models are having some huge problems with the video after installing the firmware.

Basically, videos that are not directly from the iTunes video store will play for about 30 seconds, pause, and then continue to play WITHOUT SOUND!!

This isn't just a few people experiencing this!! A trip over to the iLounge Forums reveals this is a huge problem. The only way to solve the issue right now is to revert back to the 1.0 firmware.

If you have an account at Digg.com, please do me a favor and Digg the story I posted there about the issue.

Today's Steeler game was awesome. After making 2nd half adjustments, the Steelers just absolutely dominated. Ben is amazing to watch whenever he gets on target.

I'm sure they naysayers are already out there saying that had Carson Palmer not been knocked out of the game during the 2nd play that the Steelers would have lost, however, I don't think the Bengals could have matched the Steelers 2nd half play regardless who was behind center.

Carson Palmer is definately fun to watch and I hope he has a successful recovery for next season.

Next week should be quite the challenge at Indianapolis. The Steelers will have to play an absolutely perfect game to have a chance at Peyton and the Colts at home.
