I'm not quite sure why the L.A. Times is doing an article on Hollidaysburg's reaction to the Iraq War, but they did.
I believe the story is pretty accurate and it will be interesting to gauge the Casey - Santorum race in the Central PA counties to judge dissatisfaction with the current (at least as of last week) "Stay the Course" philosophy.
I had Battlefield 2142 on preorder from Amazon up until about two weeks ago, at which time I downloaded the demo and was not impressed with it. The gameplay seemed clunky, it crashed several times, and I just didn't care for the guns and the map that were included in the demo. I ended up canceling the order from Amazon.
It was announced this week that EA loaded a ton of spyware on the game. This whole thing is ridicoulous. Battlefield 2 is an excellent game, and EA is pretty much ruining the franchise in hopes for some quick bucks during the holiday season.
Check out the video this guy supposedly sent with his 11-page resume to a bunch of banks on Wall Street. Sadly, I think this thing is real.
I think this is a good trend. We should all start requiring videos being sent with resumes, at least it would provide some entertainment.
