American Monocracy?

I never really thought of this before...

From LATimes.com:

"...Both of these warnings have been overlooked in the debate over Hillary Rodham Clinton's 2008 presidential run. But if she secures the Democratic nomination, wins and serves two terms, by 2017 the United States will have been governed by either a Bush or a Clinton for 28 years. That's three decades governed not just by the same two families but much of the same supporting staff...."

The only way I'd vote for H. Clinton would be if G.W. managed to bend law somehow to run for a 3rd term (something I'm not quite willing to rule out with him).

Downtown Denver

The latest version of Google Earth has some amazing 3D buildings. Almost the entire city of Denver now has 3D buildings that look incredibly realistic. After you download the new version, click the 3D warehouse layer in the layers window and then select "Best of 3D Warehouse". Zoom into Denver and see what I'm talking about!

Coach Kordell

One of the several rumors that I've heard around town is that the Steelers are looking at Kordell Stewart for one of the coaching vacancies (hopefully not the head spot) that are sure to open up in the organization. i'm not sure how reliable that info is, but Kordell was the first guest that ESPN interviewed after Cowher's press conference.

I wish Coach Cowher the best of luck as he takes the next year off away from the game. Even though he has mellowed through the years, we will sure miss him in Steeler Nation. Say what you must about some of the boneheaded play calling the Steelers have done this past year and in years previous to '05, he certainly brought a streak of prosperity to the Steeler's history.

ChaCha Guide

I'm now officially a ChaCha Guide. If you haven't heard of ChaCha, its a search engine where searchers can select to have a real human guide walk help them find what they are looking for. The guides get paid a minimal amount for their services, but it's at least something.

I'm not too sure how good of a business model this will end up being, but it's something to keep me occupied while improving my search skills.

I just noticed that my "Monthly Archive" side bar is growing quite large and therefore screwing up a lot of this page's formats. I also just noticed that my "f" button on my keyboard is not working unless I pound continuously on it, probably due to the remanants of some ood down there.

I'm not quite sure how to ix either problem.
