Dear Verizon,
Please do not tell me one week that I can get DSL and then two weeks later (after you have installed the phone line) tell me I can't. It's really just a big inconvenience for both of us. Also, I'd greatly appreciate it if you trained your first-line customer support representatives not to transfer a person between 4 different departments before finding someone who can actually provide some assistance.
I'm not even going to ask how is that my neighbors who live less than 40 feet away from me can get DSL, yet somehow I'm "out of range". Just let me cancel my phone service without going though 4 different 800 numbers with 15 different voice menus.
Thank-you,
The Management

Dear Blair County Commissioners,
Do you realize that my neighbors and I live just 1.5 miles from the county courthouse in a relatively built-up area, yet my address still is a vague "Rural Route Box XXXX"? My friends in Clearfield County who live on an unpaved road on the side of a mountain received a real 911 address with a street name and number close to 5 years ago. Yet, I live in a development less than 15 years old, and I still have an address that causes people to look at me oddly when I try to explain where I live.
This address also makes it near impossible for us to perform certain tasks, such as apply for credit cards, order phone or DSL service (see above letter), and have folks use such groundbreaking applications as Google Maps or Mapquest to find directions to get to our house. God forbid we ever have to actually call 911 and explain to them where we live while the house is burning down and/or we are being robbed at gunpoint.
Thank you,
The Management.
